Résumé
Ph. D. from Imperial College in Physical Chemistry (1967)
Started at UAH in 1973
Academic Experience
Teach courses in physical chemistry.
My interests lie in two distinct areas of space science: a) the interaction
of the Earth's atmosphere with surfaces of materials on satellites moving
at high relative velocity, and b) measurement of the high energy radiation
environment outside the atmosphere. Each of these programs involves the
design and building of instruments to fly on satellites and high-altitude
balloons (7 shuttle flights and 15 balloon flights, to date).
