Materials Science Building

From West of UAH on I565

Take I565 east toward Huntsville. Go past Rideout Road (entrance to NASA-MSFC).

You will immediately see a huge rocket ahead on your right hand side. This marks the Space and Rocket Center.

Take the exit immediately after the Space and Rocket Center for Old Madison Pike and Sparkman Drive.

Go straight through the first set of traffic lights at the intersection of Old Madison Pike. Move into the left lane.

Take a left turn at the next set of traffic lights. You will now be going north on Sparkman drive. Move into the far right lane. You will go back over I565 through one set traffic lights.

You will see UAH on your right hand side as soon as you cross over I565 on Sparkman Drive and start down the other side of the overpass.

Enter UAH by turning right on Technology Drive. This is the first set of lights after the overpass. The far right lane is the turning lane to enter Technology Drive.

The Duck Pond should be on your left. Take the right fork just ahead and continue to your right after the stop sign. You are now on John Wright Drive.

As you go around John Wright Drive, you will see the Materials Science Building on your left. It is a white building with blue windows and trim. It has a big UAH sign on the top (see the picture above).

Visitors parking is in a lot on your left immediately after the Materials Science Building.
